NDIS support in central & inner Melbourne.

Inner Melbourne is dense with services but that doesn't make navigating them easy — sometimes the opposite. From the CBD and Carlton through Fitzroy, Richmond, St Kilda and Brunswick, we support people living in apartments, rooming houses, public housing and share houses across 36 inner suburbs.

Inner-city life shapes what support looks like. Community access here is less about long drives and more about confidence — using trams and trains, joining groups, getting to appointments in big hospital campuses that can feel overwhelming. Daily-life support in a one-bedroom flat looks different from a suburban house, and our workers get that.

We also support a lot of people in the inner city whose NDIS plans centre on psychosocial disability — recovery coaching and peer support that meet you where you actually are, whether that's a Fitzroy café, a St Kilda foreshore walk, or your own kitchen table.

The inner city hosts Victoria's major hospitals — the Royal Melbourne, St Vincent's, the Alfred — and many specialist and community mental-health services. If your care involves several of them, our support coordination and recovery coaching can help the pieces talk to each other, with you in charge of who knows what.

Public transport is the inner city's strength, and we use it: support that builds your confidence on the network is usually more valuable long-term than being driven everywhere. Where mobility or safety makes that unrealistic, workers travel to you.

Common questions

Good to know

Do you support people in public and community housing?

Yes. A large part of our inner-city work is with people in public housing, community housing and rooming houses. Your housing situation never changes the respect or quality of support you receive.

Can support happen outside my home?

Absolutely — many inner-city participants prefer meeting at a café, library or park. Support happens where you're comfortable.

Is travel billed for inner-Melbourne support?

Where travel applies it follows NDIS pricing rules and is itemised transparently. Many inner-city supports involve little or no travel charge because workers use public transport or support you locally.

Is Ellira a registered NDIS provider?

Ellira is not yet a registered NDIS provider — we are working toward NDIS registration. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can use Ellira today; the NDIS Code of Conduct binds us fully regardless of registration.
