NDIS support across Eastern Melbourne.
From Box Hill and Camberwell out through Ringwood, Croydon and Lilydale, Melbourne's east is our second-largest service area — 44 suburbs across the Whitehorse, Manningham, Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges council areas.
Our workers reach the east easily from our south-east base via EastLink, and a growing number live locally in the Knox and Maroondah areas. That means realistic scheduling for regular supports — morning routines, weekly community access, recurring appointments — not just one-off visits.
Whether it's supported independent living in Ringwood, daily-life support in Glen Waverley, or a recovery coach who meets you at a Box Hill café rather than an office, support in the east is built around your week, your places and your goals.
The east is well served by health services we coordinate with routinely — Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital in Ringwood, and community mental-health teams across the region. For participants stepping down from hospital care, we work with discharge planners so support is in place before you get home.
The east's train lines (Belgrave, Lilydale, Glen Waverley) make some trips easy and others — especially north–south across the region — surprisingly hard. Our community access support is often about exactly that: the trips that look simple on a map but aren't.

One connected team
All seven Ellira services operate across Eastern Melbourne. For suburbs in the Dandenong Ranges foothills (Boronia, Ferntree Gully, Bayswater), we schedule with the same team that covers our Yarra Valley region, which keeps your workers consistent even if you move between areas.

Good to know
Do you really cover all 44 eastern suburbs?
Yes — every suburb listed on this page. Capacity varies week to week, so tell us your suburb when you enquire and we'll be straight with you about start times. A real person responds within one business day.
Can my support worker drive me to appointments in the east?
Yes. Transport to appointments, shopping, work, study and social activities is part of community access and daily-life support, funded through your plan under NDIS pricing rules.
I already have a support coordinator in the east — does that matter?
Not at all. We work alongside your existing coordinator and providers. You're free to choose any provider for any support — we never ask you to move everything to us.
Is Ellira a registered NDIS provider?
Ellira is not yet a registered NDIS provider — we are working toward NDIS registration. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can use Ellira today; the NDIS Code of Conduct binds us fully regardless of registration.
