NDIS support in the Yarra Valley & the hills.

The hills and valley towns — Healesville, Yarra Glen, Warburton, Belgrave, Emerald, Monbulk and their neighbours — are beautiful places to live and genuinely hard places to get support. Providers who 'cover Melbourne' often quietly don't cover here. We do, and we're honest about how.

Support in the outer east is planned differently: longer visits rather than short frequent ones where that suits you better, workers scheduled in the area for the day rather than racing up the mountain for a single hour, and telehealth as a genuine option for supports that work well remotely — recovery coaching check-ins, support coordination, psychology.

Distance never changes the standard. The same team, the same safeguards and the same one-business-day response applies in Warburton as it does in our home suburbs.

Living in the hills means bushfire seasons, winding roads, and townships where everyone knows everyone — which cuts both ways when you're managing mental health. Our workers respect small-town privacy; what you share with your support team stays with your support team.

Public transport is thin beyond the Lilydale and Belgrave train lines, so community access here is heavily about transport — getting to the bigger centres at Lilydale, Chirnside Park or Ringwood for shopping, appointments and activities that the townships don't have.

Common questions

Good to know

Do you actually send workers to the hills, or is it all telehealth?

Real workers, really in the hills — in-person support is the default for hands-on services. Telehealth is an option, not a substitute, and only for supports where it genuinely works, like coaching check-ins or coordination.

What happens on days of extreme fire danger?

Safety comes first: we follow emergency-services guidance, stay in contact with you, and re-schedule or switch to phone/video support when travel isn't safe. Your support plan includes what we do on those days.

Is travel charged for valley visits?

Travel follows NDIS pricing rules and is always itemised. We schedule workers in the area to keep travel costs down — you'll never be surprised by a travel line on an invoice.

Is Ellira a registered NDIS provider?

Ellira is not yet a registered NDIS provider — we are working toward NDIS registration. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can use Ellira today; the NDIS Code of Conduct binds us fully regardless of registration.
